Organically farmed from a variety of clones in vineyards in Norton Summit, Little Creek, Piccadilly and Scary Gully with vine age between 16 and 36 years. Soils are sandstone, quartz and schist. Mostly whole cluster, open top ferments, then eight months in French oak barriques and puncheons of which 10% new.
Ethereal and perfumed, a bit of a departure in style but in a very pleasing way. Bunchy fruit at the core, but this is light, elusive and elegant like we all wish we could be. A chill would be good, but not so much that that beautiful perfume gets suppressed.
