The Servin family have owned vineyards in Chablis, Burgundy, France since 1654. Today, they own some of the best parcels in Chablis, with Chardonnay vines over 40 years in age. The vines of the Servin Winery thrive in a former sea bed, where the unique limestone-clay soil created from fossilized shells, produces the distinct mineral qualities. Their vineyards function sustainably and follow organic practices; demonstrating a high regard for healthy soil management and balancing vineyard eco-systems. Bourgogone wines are from the Burgundy region, and can be characterized as either Rouge, almost exclusively made with Pinot Noir grapes, or as Blanc, mostly Chardonnay. Bourgogne wines can be produced in any of the 300 different communes within Burgundy, and represent over 51% of Burgundy’s total production. Specific appellations in Burgundy focus on either red or white production, regional designation produces mostly white and sparkling. Enjoy within 2 to 3 years at 7C.
