The Servin family have owned vineyards in Chablis, Burgundy, France since 1654. Today, they own some of the best parcels in Chablis, with Chardonnay vines over 40 years in age. The vines of the Servin Winery thrive in a former sea bed, where the unique limestone-clay soil created from fossilized shells, produces the distinct mineral qualities. Bourgogone wines are from the Burgundy region, and can be characterized as either Rouge, almost exclusively made with Pinot Noir grapes, or as Blanc, mostly Chardonnay.
