2017 Bindi Dixon Pinot Noir Macedon

In the autumn of 2018 we blended and put aside this four barrel (100 dozen) selection that
would normally have gone into the Dixon and Kaye. This four barrel blend is a little richer
and more complex than the 2017 Dixon and has gained further texture and complexity with
the additional 30 months in bottle before release. The season was fine and relatively late
and produced wines of great fragrance and excellent palate weight. The nose is quite floral
with raspberry, red and black cherry and brown spice aromas. It is also gaining earthy
notes. The palate is full and textured, mouth filling with fine and chewy tannin drive.
Another four years will see it at its peak.
