Racked to foudre. Slopes of Les Rugiens-Hauts and Les Vaumuriens and La Vache, south-east facing. Rocky site. Rocky soils tend to give lighter colours. Clay, darker (magnesium).
Lots of spice here and crushed rocks on the nose with dark-red fruit. Fine tannins, dry, moreish and mouth-watering. Dark finesse. Delicate for a Pommard, finesse and length. (JH) 16/20
