Grosset Pinot Noir 2016, Adelaide Hills. The 2016 Grosset Pinot Noir has more exuberant aromatics than usual with bright mulberry and redcurrant complemented by floral notes. It is fresh and vibrant, wonderfully approachable with pure red cherry fruit flavours made more complex by a touch of briar. It is silky smooth and flows seamlessly through to a long finish which has a gentle grip that serves to remind us that there is cellaring potential here. It is intense, fine and lively–an excellent example of youthful Australia pinot.
